Hong Kong.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 10 of the Naval Volunteer Ordinance, 1933, the Governor makes the following regulations :-
Regulations of the Hong Kong Naval Volunteer Force.
PRELIMINARY.
1. The Hong Kong Naval Volunteer Force (shortly re- Statutory Authority ferred to hereinafter as the Force) is raised under the Naval for the Volunteer Ordinance, 1933, and the Acts and Ordinances Force. incorporated therewith. The Members of this Force are termed the Ilong Kong Naval Volunteers (shortly referred to hereinafter as the H.K.N.V.) and shall be subject to those Ordinances and Acts and all Regulations made with regard to them by the Governor.
2. (1) Subject to the general control of the Governor, Committee. the H.K.N.V. shall be under the orders of the Commodore in charge of His Majesty's Naval Establishments at Hong Kong (referred to hereinafter as the Commodore).
(2) The Commodore shall be assisted by a Committee, termed the H.K.N.V. Committee of which he shall be, ex officio, the President. The other members of the H.K.N.V. Committee shall consist of the Commanding Officer of the H.K.N.V. (ex officio) and such other officers of the R.N. or the II.K.N.V. as the Governor may see fit to appoint.
(3) The H.K.N.V. Committee shall be responsible to the Governor for the internal administration of the force. The Committee shall forward to the Governor all recommendations for appointment, promotion and retirement and shall submit to him their proposals on all matters relating to efficiency and maintenance.

3. Members of the Force and of the H.K.N.V. Committee Access to may have access, at any time on application to the Commanding Regulations Officer, to a copy of the Naval Volunteer Ordinance, 1933, and Ordinance. of the Acts and Ordinances incorporated therewith and of the Regulations for the time being in force made thereunder.
ORGANISATION.
4. The Personnel of the Force shall consist of two cate- Personnel. gories, which will be made up as follows:----
LIST I. Volunteers attending for instruction.
LIST II. Volunteers borne on the List for Administra- tive purposes but not necessarily attending for instruction.
The authorised establishment of the Force is given in Tables A1 and A2 (below).
The Staff of R.N. Instructors allowed to the Force is shown in Table B (below).
